Tour the Okanagan!!

Embark on an unforgettable 8-day journey from Saskatchewan to the stunning Okanagan Valley. This tour offers the perfect blend of scenic beauty, exciting attractions, and relaxation.

The adventure begins as we depart from Regina and head to Calgary for an overnight stay. The next leg of our journey takes us to Kelowna, our home for the next 4 nights. Enjoy the scenic stops along the way, including Golden and Revelstoke. We’ll visit D Dutchmen Dairy for homemade ice cream and Fruit World for fresh, locally grown fruits and goodies. The landscape throughout the journey is a sight to behold, with vast valleys and towering mountains.

After settling in Kelowna, we will take a day to explore along Okanagan Lake. We will make a stop for some in house baking at Bliss Bakery. Then we will head to Penticton where will will visit the SS Sicamous Marine Heritage Society for a tour and free time to explore the waterfront. Next, we visit Canada’s first-ever “Wine Village”, which features 16 of the Okanagan’s finest artisanal and craft producers conveniently located in one stunning location. At District Wine Village, you can have lunch and sip on local wines while enjoying the valley’s breathtaking scenery.

The following day is filled with animal encounters at Kangaroo Creek Farm, where you’ll meet kangaroos and wallabies. Later, there will be free time to explore the Kelowna Waterfront and have lunch on Bernard Avenue. Late afternoon, we will indulge in a wine tasting at Frind Winery, located right on the shores of Okanagan Lake.

You’ll also have a free day to explore Kelowna on your own if you wish. You can also hop on the bus and come along with us as we visit the Kelowna Farmers Market and do some shopping at Orchard Park Shopping Centre.

As we leave Kelowna we will stop in for a visit at Davison Orchards, for fresh produce, homemade goods and maybe even a ride on the “Johnny Popper” train! Next will visit Village Cheese to learn all about making Artesian Cheese! We will end our day in the “Houseboat Capital” of Canada – Sicamous, BC.

We head back through the Rocky Mountains and spend some time in Banff, where you can take in the incredible mountain views while having lunch. There will even be time to stroll the shops on Banff Avenue.  We will make our way back to our home cities, filled with memories of this unforgettable escape through the Okanagan!
